Finally, a prince named Ram, the son of King Dasharath of Ayodhya, came to Mithila. Ram was strong and virtuous, and he had a pure heart. With ease, he lifted the bow and broke it, thus winning Sita’s hand in marriage. The entire kingdom rejoiced, and Sita’s life took a beautiful turn as she became the wife of the noble and brave Ram.
Story 2: The Forest Exile and Sita’s Strength
After marrying Sita, Ram was crowned as the king of Ayodhya, and everyone was happy. However, a turn of events led to Ram being exiled from the kingdom for 14 years. Ram, being a man of his word, left for the forest with his wife, Sita, and his brother, Lakshman. The three of them set off into the dense, wild forests, leaving behind the comforts of the palace.

They crossed the vast ocean to Lanka and fought a fierce battle against Ravana and his army of demons. With the help of his allies, Ram defeated Ravana and freed Sita from captivity.
However, even after her rescue, doubts arose in the minds of some about Sita’s purity. People whispered that since Sita had stayed in Ravana’s palace, she might not be pure. Sita, being the virtuous and wise woman she was, decided to prove her purity. She called upon the Earth, her mother, to take her back, as she had always been true to her husband. The Earth opened up, and Sita was swallowed by the ground, returning to her mother’s embrace.
Ram, devastated by her departure, continued his life as a king and a righteous ruler. However, he always remembered his beloved Sita and the sacrifices she made for him. The story of Sita Mata, her strength, her virtue, and her unwavering faith, remains an inspiration for generations to come.
