गाँव बंसीपुर में एक किसान रहता था – रामू। वह गरीब था, पर दिल से बहुत अमीर। हर दिन सूरज उगने से पहले वह अपने खेतों में काम करने चला जाता था। उसका एक ही सपना था – अपने बेटे को पढ़ाकर बड़ा अफसर बनाना। लेकिन उस साल बारिश नहीं हुई। आसमान सूना रहा और धरती प्यासी।
रामू की फसल सूख गई। खेत में सिर्फ बंजर जमीन बची थी। उसने सोच रखा था कि गेहूं बेचकर अपने बेटे मोहन की स्कूल फीस भरेगा। पर अब तो खुद का पेट भरना मुश्किल हो गया था। गाँव के कई लोग शहर चले गए, लेकिन रामू अपने खेत और बेटे के भविष्य से जुड़े सपनों को छोड़ नहीं पाया।
एक दिन मोहन बोला, “बाबा, मैं स्कूल नहीं जाऊँगा। मैं खेत में आपका हाथ बँटाऊँगा।”
रामू की आँखों में आँसू आ गए। “नहीं बेटा, तू पढ़ेगा। मैं खेत बेचकर भी तेरी पढ़ाई पूरी कराऊँगा।”
कुछ दिन बाद, गाँव में एक स्वयंसेवी संस्था आई। उन्होंने रामू की हालत देखी और मदद का हाथ बढ़ाया। मोहन की पढ़ाई की जिम्मेदारी संस्था ने ले ली। रामू ने राहत की साँस ली। धीरे-धीरे गाँव में फिर से पानी आया, हरियाली लौटी, और रामू का सपना साकार होने लगा।
सीख: जब हालात मुश्किल हों, तब भी उम्मीद का दामन न छोड़ें।
दूसरी कहानी: फूलमती की सब्ज़ीवाली कहानी
फूलमती एक बूढ़ी किसान औरत थी। उसका पति मर चुका था और बेटे शहर जाकर गायब हो गया था। वह अकेली ही खेत में काम करती, सब्जियाँ उगाती और गाँव के हाट में बेचती थी। उसके पास न ट्रैक्टर था, न बैल, पर मेहनत की कोई कमी नहीं थी।
हर सुबह चार बजे वह खेत जाती, पसीने से भीगी हुई चुनरी में भगवान का नाम लेती और फावड़ा उठाती। गाँव के कुछ लोग उसका मज़ाक भी उड़ाते थे – “अबे, बुढ़िया क्या खेती करेगी?”
फूलमती बस मुस्कराती और कहती, “धरती माँ कभी किसी को खाली नहीं लौटाती।”
एक दिन हाट में एक अफसर आया, जो खेती पर रिसर्च कर रहा था। उसने फूलमती की सब्ज़ियों को देखा – एकदम ताजगी से भरी, बिना किसी केमिकल के। उसने पूछा, “आपने ये सब कैसे उगाया?”
फूलमती ने बड़े गर्व से बताया, “गाय का गोबर, नीम की पत्तियाँ और माँ के आशीर्वाद से।”
अफसर इतना प्रभावित हुआ कि उसने फूलमती को अपने शहर के कृषि सम्मेलन में बुलाया। वहाँ उसने भाषण दिया और सबको सिखाया कि जैविक खेती कैसे की जाती है। धीरे-धीरे फूलमती का नाम पूरे जिले में फैल गया। सरकार ने उसे ‘बेस्ट फार्मर’ का अवॉर्ड भी दिया।
अब वह गाँव की लड़कियों को मुफ्त में जैविक खेती सिखाती है।
सीख: उम्र और हालात नहीं, इंसान की मेहनत और सोच उसका भविष्य तय करती है।
तीसरी कहानी: छोटू का सपना
छोटू सिर्फ बारह साल का था, लेकिन उसका दिल बहुत बड़ा था। उसके पिता किसान थे, और बहुत गरीब थे। खेत में हर दिन काम करने के बाद भी घर में कभी भरपेट खाना नहीं होता था। छोटू स्कूल के बाद खेत में पिता का हाथ बँटाता था, और कभी-कभी गाँव में लोगों के घरों में पानी भी भरता था कुछ पैसे कमाने के लिए।
छोटू को पढ़ना बहुत अच्छा लगता था। उसकी टीचर उसे कहानियाँ सुनाती थीं – महात्मा गांधी, अब्दुल कलाम, और भास्कराचार्य की। वह सोचता, “एक दिन मैं भी कुछ बनूँगा।”
लेकिन पैसे नहीं थे। एक दिन पिता ने कहा, “छोटू, अब तू स्कूल मत जा। खेत में ज्यादा काम है।”
छोटू चुप हो गया, लेकिन हार नहीं मानी। उसने शाम को गाँव के मंदिर के पुजारी से बात की।
“पंडित जी, क्या मैं यहाँ बैठकर पढ़ सकता हूँ?”
पंडित ने सिर पर हाथ रख दिया, “पढ़ बेटा, भगवान तेरा साथ देंगे।”
छोटू हर रात मंदिर में दिया जलाकर पढ़ता रहा। उसकी मेहनत रंग लाई। गाँव के स्कूल में उसकी पहचान एक होशियार लड़के के रूप में हुई। एक दिन गाँव में एक NGO आई, जो गरीब बच्चों को स्कॉलरशिप देती थी। छोटू का नाम सबसे ऊपर था।
NGO ने उसका दाखिला शहर के अच्छे स्कूल में कराया। उसके पिता की आँखों में गर्व के आँसू थे। छोटू बड़ा होकर एक इंजीनियर बना और गाँव लौटकर एक स्कूल खोला – ‘ग्राम ज्ञानालय’। वहाँ गरीब बच्चों को मुफ्त पढ़ाई दी जाती है।
सीख: सपनों को पूरा करने के लिए साधन नहीं, संकल्प चाहिए।
